Hope you get whatever needs rectifying sorted, Matchworn.

I only travelled by flybmi during two trips (Hannover and Munich). Easily two of the best travelling experiences helped by the fact that even in the small plane, it was only 25% full.

Thank you - fortunately not stranded anywhere but have booked a number of flights from the UK to Germany for the rest of the year including a large family trip. Not to hopeful of getting any of the (quite considerable amount of) money back, but it's more that family trips are more valuable than money.

I always had a positive experience with them, as you say though the flights were never very full

The simple fact that I cannot use my electric toothbrush to clean my teeth without looking in the mirror. I'm perfectly fine with a normal toothbrush but not an electric one.

Random.

Somebody lent me a book recently.

It was hardly a page-turner, and I really struggled with it. I bumped into them at the weekend and gave my opinion and now it seems as though they have gotten the huff with me because I didn't rate the book.

Is one supposed to lie and say I liked the book just to avoid offending others?

Apparently in that case - someone who values their own opinion (or judgement of you) too highly? Or someone who ploughs through books, even if they don't like them.

Personally I'm so picky with books that I'd make a recommendation but totally understand if they didn't manage more than a couple of pages.

oh, what a shame.

Trouble is Batch, apparently HMG gave waved through something like 400 returning Isis fighters of late, without problem. This looks like a case of, for Javid, it's in the media better be seen to do something, for my leadership ambitions.
