My wife hates football but every major tournament she’ll make an effort to get involved, watch some games with me and the like.
I wish she wouldn’t.
yup, my Mrs just asked if the Spain v Portugal game would go to extra time and pens as its 3.3 Roll Eyes

How bloody awful the field is in this year's Le Mans. Only Toyota entered as a Manufacturer LMP Hybrid team, with both Porsche and Audi pulling out after last year. They only entered two teams as well. LMP2 and the GT catagories are a bit more competitive, but it's been a bit of an anti-climax this year.

You’ve got to try the Mela in old town. Some young chef who used to work in the palm has taken it over. Best curry I’ve EVER eaten. Unbelievable food in fact, regardless of cuisine. (And I’ve eaten on both the palm and the burj many times.)

Always thought Mela was good before the takeover, so if its improved sounds very good to me!

When the football commentators say "all the (Peru/Russia/insert any team name here) fans we have spoken to in the streets before the match say they have a good chance of winning today"

Getting a ruby tonight. Might give them a go.
Do they do takeout?

They do. I think they’ve started getting too busy for their staff though. A friend had a takeaway a few weeks back (after eating in there and knowing how amazing it was) and said it was awful. He got a full refund and a think he might’ve been offered another free on top.

Don’t know what the takeaway menu is like, but lamb royal is great, as are the halibut, sea bass and some other fish dish that was served in a mint and coriander sauce.

The Khyber continues to be my go to place for curry. Just don't ever order a phall from there.

Might skip on that then....

Any other recommendations for delivery?  Ideally they are on just eat so there is no language barrier :-)

Meant to be going on a stag do tomorrow night in pompey but my wife has been in hospital with gallstones and having IBS already it has really knocked her for six.
To top it off, someone broke into my house last night and shoved a bunch of razors in my throat.
