Gets on my tits.  Commentators screaming about fairytales.  He fucking dived.  Huth should have been off for elbowing.  Its a bloody fairytale.

Ive had to turn over to BBC4, I cant stand all the screaming and shouting of hyperbole.  So much more dignity In the world of the himalayas with Attenbourough.

Needed a medical licence to claim on travel insurance after my dad passed away, so his GP's said "yup we can fill it in, bring it on in". Leave with them, they charge us £25 for the privilege.
Looked at it, it's filled in wrongly.
They now want to charge us another £25 to fill it in correctly. Utter cunts

Sorry to hear about your dad Bennett.

That is unbelievably disgusting behaviour from the GP. How can they get away with that?

Thanks fella,
No idea, just about to phone up and have a lovely chat and that this appears to be a licence to print money (ie write any old shit on a piece of paper and charge dosh, then want more dosh for a do-over)

That's shit, FWIW from experience surgery administrators seem to suffer a god complex and are dreadful for getting info out of, when the missus worked at the CAB they used to regularly have to obtain medical reports for clients at c£200 a pop (cash up front). One practice used to regularly take 6-8 months to provide the report (during which period the CAB client was suffering) and once when chased after 9 months rather than apologise the admin person at the practice reported my missus to the CAB for daring to chase for the report.

Haven't they essentially contracted with you to complete the form, if they haven't completed it as required have they discharged their side of the deal - Apologies entirely understand that you probably don't want to fall out with them at this stage, sorry for your loss....

Highworth Town Juniors Football Club. Asking for £160 up front to cover seasons u9 football next year, payable end of June.

Thanks for penalising those of us that managed to pay £15 a month (2st season) on time, then begrudgingly  2 x £80 (2nd season).

TBF if it's anything like my lads' club, we're still chasing way too many people for fees in March. And most of that is around excuses, some genuine, some clearly bullshit around payment by standing orders etc. Can well understand why some clubs just say "fuck it" and ask for it all up front. Like you say, not fair  on those parents who do pay up promptly and regularly, but there's a disgusting amount of parents who are more than happy to take a free ride on the back of the good ones. And, let's not forget, a huge amount of time and effort given for free by volunteers wasted chasing all this up

i get that,  it happens at all clubs (non payments).

The managers should be more supportive to the club  by not playing those in arrears.  too interested in putting their best team out.

I'm lucky enough such that the cost up front is not an issue. there are those that £160 up front just before summer holidays is off-putting,   and if it's anything like school good will be too embarrassed to ask for help.
