The nemesis of every paperboy.
That and ridiculously small letterboxes. The Mail on Sunday was a popular paper in Westbury, Wiltshire in the mid-90's. Probably still is.

I did a gazette and herald round. Delivery in the morning, then back again in the evening to collect the cash.

I did a bike and basket delivery round for a local hardware shop a la Granville in Open All Hours.
Paid enough to fund my STFC and 10 Cadets habit at the time!

I had a round around the Lawns which was OK.
On Sundays I had a fucking huge round at Coate. There's some enormous houses up there, you don't notice they're there until you have to go off the beaten track. The bag was a bit of a cunt to carry to begin and I had more than one bag at times, but it got batter as the round went on and the bags got lighter. It was a pretty good round really, I enjoyed it.

My round was council estates with all the redtops, the occasional mail/express or even a sport(it always took me longer to deliver that one. I used to laugh at my mate who had to do Hardenhuish Lane/Rowdens Mead, until it came to Christmas tip time!

Yep, Hardenhuish too, a generation later. My mate who had the hard round is Rich Legg's youngest.

Sky creaming themselves over mourning going to Chelsea as Man U boss, wonder if they'll do the same with Moyes going back to Man U with Sunderland if he doesn't get sacked before.

It's one of those games I would rather neither team won, although be interesting to see Mourinho's excuses after the game?

That's the problem. I'd love to see both teams fail, even if they had Mother Theresa and the Dalai Lama in charge respectively. But because of Jose I think I enjoyed them capitulating a little bit more.
