Lack of bins.

I don't condone littering for a second but you can see why people do it. Such a simple thing.

We have a really big problem up here with the lack of dog mess bins and people moaning about having to clean up after their dog but there being no bin for it to go in.

I pay the same Council Tax as dog owners and I just don't see why the Council should be paying for the bins and for them then to be emptied (which costs a bloody fortune), having a dog is not compulsory and if you don't like carrying it home well get shot of the dog..... and don't get me started with people who tie the stuff up and then into trees, we did this when I worked at Waterways to illustrate the issue, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/8587552.stm it achieved fuck all!

Rant over!

Don't you find it a bit strange that dog owners bag their crap, but then just leave it on a bush or path side in the bag?

The Rangers over at Coate often put up notices to this effect.....not sure it does much good mind.

*** OLD GIT ALERT ****
Are there just more dogs around now, avoiding the dog shit on playing fields when playing football when we were kids was an art in itself. Don't remember anyone bagging their dogs poo back in the day

Well there are more people so likely more dogs....also increasingly people don't seem content with just the one.  I guess that is something to do with the Tories getting rid of the old dog licence in Britain, but not Northern Ireland, where it is still a requirement.

You've shocked us all, Reg  Wink

Putting them in bags but not bins is about the minimum people can do to not feel guilty whilst still avoiding social responsibility.

Nobody cleared up after dogs in the 70's. Thanks to the drying effect of sunshine ('twas as we know a glorious, sun drenched decade) one of the treasured memories of a '70's childhood is 'white dog shit'. You just don't see it nowadays.

The white dog shit was actually down to too much calcium in their food. Dog food has since improved in quality, hence why you no longer see white shit.

Offered someone some old textbooks of mine. He said "nah, they're no good." That was it.

Livid.

BBC  News reporting on some bastards throwing fox cubs into their hunt's pack of hounds.

The Animal Cruelty lady who uncovered it was filmed face on as the reporter said:

'She wants to remain anonymous as she fears for her safety'

Well done, BBC! Twats.
