Would Tesco car park not be private leand (its definitely not highway) therefore can you be done for doing such things on private land?

Sure you can as this would never have got to court otherwise but just caught my eye!

Jaysus christ. "A judge said he could not think of a more serious offence" Really? Couldn't think of a more serious offence? I can't even understand how it is an offence.

If it had happened on an American airline, the plane would probably have been met by a team dressed in full protective clothing and the passengers and crew would probably have been quarantined for a couple of weeks.

Some old guy cut me up coming off the gablecross roundabout up towards covingham, blew my horn at him and he just stopped dead in the road and flipped me the bird. I returned the favour, he drove off but when we'd got back up to 30mph he did another emergency stop and got out of his car and came to my door, shouting abuse at me. I just kept asking why he'd got out of his car, which seemed to piss him off more. Eventually climbed back into his car, saying he'd taken my license plate, drove off into covingham at 20 miles an hour. Didn't think of getting my phone out and recording him, which has annoyed me. Fucking moron.

Yeah, that made me angry yesterday, the governor deciding that his ill informed opinion superseded actual scientific reality and trying to get someone who didn't have Ebola quarantined on the grounds that she once shook hands with a black man.

A lot of the reaction to this is disgraceful. Africans dying, barely anybody gives a shit: man writes name of virus on coffee cup, up in court. What the fuck?

100 times more Africans have starved to death since the Ebola outbreak started, than have died of Ebola.

Well we'd better hope nobody writes "I'm hungry" on a coffee cup then hadn't we.

Seriously though, I believe it's similar stats on Malaria too.

Rich folk can't die of starvation though, hence the fear.

"He said it was like writing on a napkin that there is a bomb on the plane."

Yes, he's hit the nail on the head here, that's exactly what it's like.

I was going to buy one some time back, but having had a road rager chase me recently, as well as nearly having a smash, I've just ponied up for one. Thanks for the prompt Sippo.

Which reminds me, and is something that should be in this thread. An insurer wanted to offer me "up to 15% discount" for fitting telematics. I asked what exactly it was and they said it allows them to monitor my driving and in future they can adjust my insurance accordingly. I trust insurers about as much as I trust bankers and politicians, so I declined helping them with raising their profits.

If you use a decent insurer you've nothing to worry about, trust wise. If you pay peanuts, you're asking for trouble. Cheap's not good, value for money is.
