I did quite like the BBCs report on the Man U game:

who were playing in front of a crowd of 26,969 - the biggest in their 10-year history.

well done Chris Osborne Smiley

Found a dead cat stuck in my front room window this morning. It must've snuck in my house somehow and got itself caught trying to escape. It was already stiff by the time I found it.

I'm normally a stiff upper lip sort of guy but I'm not ashamed to say I cried my fucking eyes out over this poor cat. Stupid thing must've died a horrible slow death. All I could do was take it's body to the vet and get the microchip scanned. At least the owners know what happened.

Absolutely gutted.

Sorry to hear that John. Must have been awful for you and the cat.

How does a few hours lodged in a window finish a cat off?

(Depends where it's lodged, if it's what happened to my families heavily pregnant cat)

The neck.

It was lodged round the chest, and it's own weight was heavy enough to stop it breathing and pop it's eyes out.

Just placed an 'interest'  bet with Skybet on the JPT games tonight - mainly as I had a few quid swilling around in the account.

Thought I had placed a standard accy but after placing it seems I have done an accy alright - but it's for all the teams I chose to score 2 or more goals.

I thought the payout looked on the big side but I've done my dough before a ball's been kicked
