I don't even work in IT, I just know slightly more than the person I'm helping.

Office 365 (2013) is going in the bin, everyone hates it and I can kind of see why. And with Windows 7, everyone hates it because they've only ever used NT and XP and its seems sharing and security has been a big headache, but that's my failings really. Fortunately going back to Office 2003 isn't much of a ball ache, but going back to XP is obviously a no go.
Windows 7 is brilliant, much easier for sharing and networking than anything before it such as XP.

NHBC. What is the point of having a buildings guarantee if the minimum claim is £1300?

As someone who works in IT (network infra support), the only things more annoying than computers are users.
Nothing is worse than sales people. Nothing.

Is there anything worse than having a piss that just won't behave and flies off everywhere.

I just don't understand why it happens

IT sales people are the worst. Half don't even know what they are talking about, and some claim to be from Microsoft. I'm lucky as most get stopped before getting to me.

Yaya Toure basically inferring that people don't rate him as highly as Iniesta because he's black.

Erm, it's actually because you're not as good as Iniesta lad.

A delivery driver from Dominos just banged on the window to ask which house he was looking for. I'm sat here with my headphones on and I absolutely shit myself.

Dear Dominos, that isn't right. Don't do that.

Not really the right thread, but the closest I can find. The missus' 15 year old golden retriever had a stroke last night (the 4th she's suffered). After the last one the vet advised us that her quality of life was still ok but if she had another it may be kinder to let her go. Well, the other half's at work and the vet is on his way. Fourth time I've had to do this and it never gets any easier.

Sorry to hear that Steve.

Been there myself and it's truly heart breaking. At least 15 years is a very good innings.
