I catch Eastenders about once every two years but they seem to still be peddling this idea that the ageing balding Max Branning is irresistible to women.  I see he now has teenagers fawning over him, nothing against balding gingers but I assume he writes the scripts!

I think that it more the inadequate spreader that comes with the can. You need to use a lot to stick a carpet down.

Ah, contact or 528?

Have I found an adhesives expert?

It's contact. Do you know if any of the spray carpet adhesives are any good?

If he is using adhesive on carpet it would suggest carpet tiles.

Double sided sticky tape?  Wink

I tried that on the new beer shelf over the cab, but it was a disaster even with the best (and most expensive) tape I could find. I ended up nailing it up with large headed tacks. This carpet is to go round the rear wheel arches which are a bugger of a shape. Evo-Stik works if you apply it to both surfaces and let them go tacky before assembly.

Who knew that sticking things together could be so complicated?

Piss on the floor before you put the evo-stik down.

It works.

Probably.

Once you've laid the carpet, set fire to it.
