Impatient drivers...

I did that last night.

I use this entrance/exit 3-4 times per week and the number of cunts who can't access that section of carriageway at a proper speed, when the slip road is that long, makes me angry. (As your video proves, re: failure to get up to speed - if people actually reached the correct speed BEFORE they joined the carriageway the world would be a better place.)

It's the amount of traffic which is the reasoning for the speed.

Crossing the chevrons is a traffic offence and can be prosecuted to 3 points and a fine. It is deemed as dangerous driving.

Took my lad to the STFC development day today. He wore his town shirt with pride but so many other kids with full premiership kits just fucking annoys me.

There were two brothers there in near dentical manure shirts with their names on the back  - one was Kieran, one was Kienan. I mean seriously?

Note : sorry if they are anybody's kids on here but the lack of imagination and chav-ness did make me chuckle.

Watch him go on the D-Fensive.

Some people really are idiots though. Why oh why do some actively indicate right to exit a roundabout. I'm not talking about lazyitous in leaving the indicator going, I mean actually turning on the right indicator from off. It happened again yesterday.

Also more relevant to Sippo, some knobjockey thought it would be a good idea to enter the M4 from Chippenham at 40MPH, which would be their problem but in this case decided to go down the entire slip road in the overtaking (right) lane accelerating up to the 40 Mph.. If ever there was a case of valid undertaking....

There were two lorries parked almost opposite each other but with a stagger, made the road a bit chicane like. Some div in a "Stonehenge special" crawled from the opposite direction after I was already committed. Had the cheek to blast me! Hope he could lip read, then again it wasn't difficult to understand what I said  Smiley

These posts have made me realise that my cross country single carriageway back roads commute is really not that bad. Fuck the M4

Which is just as bad as the merc driver. I think everyone realises driving standards in this country have fallen dramatically in the last few years.

In my car, there are a raft of legitimate reasons for undertaking... (safely) using the inside lane to cruise past middle-laners used to be my favourite part of commuting to and from Bristol.

Freelance work.  Motorhead have just cancelled their tour so Ive had an 8 date 13 day tour in November pulled on me.  Being freelance I just lose the work, no recourse to getting any cash.  Just hope I can still do it when its rescheduled.

Annoying.
