Anyway Arriba, if you have an algae problem you might just be able to get some cream for it.

if you've got algae problems you definitely don't need a pleco, you need some shrimps

On the topic of fish my EHEIM filter has been a shitter for months now. The flow coming from the top of it (clean water) slowly reduces over a week, so that by Friday there is a trickle rather than a jet of water coming out of it. Thought it was plant bits clogging it up at first, but got rid of me Cabomba Caroliniana and when I remove the spongy bit there's no plant stuff on it. A little squeeze of the sponge and giving the rest a minimal rinse seems to power it up again, but the cycle begins again from that point. It worked fine for the first few months. Any ideas? Shall I take it back if I can find the receipt, this isn't normal maintenance surely?

Not specifically by train, but the option that immediately occurred to me is Overground from Brixton to Victoria (which is actually quicker than the Victoria line that parallels it) and then coach (NX 403 service) from Victoria to Swindon...which, I think, runs around the clock pretty much.
