I went for my lunchtime stroll and on the way back noticed (I assume her husband) a car coming to collect the wife and her shopping. Instead of driving into the car park to do this, they decided to stop in the middle of the entrance. Ordinarily I suspect that the pickup would have been quite swift but of course the women took forever faffing about putting the bags in the boot of the car and then the dog was dicking around and wouldn't get in the car. A line of cars was beginning to back up including paramedics in an ambulance who had to patiently wait for these wombles to get out of the way.
I just can't understand why people can't just think things through properly, they probably didn't even see the ambulance behind them.

Honestly, it wasn't planned. One of my wisdom teeth have been giving be trouble and it was finally taken out yesterday but the 3hrs sleep a night for the last week has been catching up with me. Just shut my eyes for 10 min and felt good as new :-) |

Glad you got your wisdom tooth sorted out Chubbs and yeah no doubt the 3hrs kips have caught up with you. Always a bonus when any kind of nap put you right. My fear is, if I were to have a nap, I would spend the rest of the evening up and then into the early ones (which happens anyway, so maybe should try and take a nap every once in a while). |

Mandatory training at work  I have been told that I have to do the mandatory training for office 2010 as I didn't do it at the beginning of the year as I have been using office 2019 for about a year now, it was agreed with my old department head that I would do the office 2019 training instead. Now it has come towards the end of the year and now the new training manger has over ruled my department head and says that I have to complete 9 hours of training on a software package that we no longer use as everybody has been upgraded to 2019. So now I have to waste a quarter of my week doing this obsolete training when I am already rushed off my feet at work. |

Glad to see Royal Mail reach the 21st Century in terms of offering similar services to other private competitors but that "starling murmuration" graphic used in their latest ad campaign is awful.
Whilst delivering the message of their services, the "murmuration" is meant to show us those individual services but it never fully forms. You're are mostly left with some weird blurriness that just looks purely like a murmuration. You know it's trying to show you the shape but it never comes close. I have pretty good eyesight but consider Royal Mail will have a lot of "loyal" older customers, it would appear that many of them will not even realise what is happening in the background or be convinced by the current campaign.

No, but I also wouldn't want to be an airline pilot. Because I'm not qualified to do it and I'd be shit at it and kill a couple of hundred people. But I recognise that and so don't try to do something I'd be shit at. He didn't admit that, put his own ambition first and cost 10s of thousands of lives. Never had a worse PM, he makes Thatcher look like a living fucking saint |
