the roundabout is counter intuitive a bit. so I get people getting caught out first time.

what is more amusing is the people (FB) that still thought the car was right to cut across, even though there are clearly marked guide lines to show contrary

I have a dashcam, and would've reported the tit if I could, but Wilts Police currently don't accept dashcam footage.
Why not? Surely it's evidence isn't it? They seem happy enough to accept mobile phone footage, what's so different about dashcams?

Because they'd be inundated with absolute nonsense, and they're not built to verify or rights clear any of the content. How do you prove ownership of a video? How do you verify what you're seeing is not doctored?

Verification of video at scale is tricky - it's what I do for a living!

So, if you have dash cam footage of someone beating somebody up in a road rage incident, they wouldn't accept it?

God knows. I'd guess they'd accept it as evidence if a charge has been raised, but just opening the floodgates on submissions wouldn't be helpful.

Some accept them and act on them, some don't.

It's time that dash cams were fitted as standard and a legal requirement to drive. Would be even better if that was coupled with stronger sentencing for driving offences. Get all these maniacs off the roads permanently.
Not much hope of that though.

Sorted "Full Fibre" with BT and they also talked me into their mobile package. I don't use much data so went for 1GB @ £5. So last night they cut my off fibre off and didn't turn up and sort the new fibre. I had to work this morning so tethered my phone and stupidly boshed (xvideoed) all my 1 GB and got a message saying that.

Shortly after got a text saying I'm now at my spending cap - WTF? Turns out they charge you 10p per MB of excess data.

Needless to say I've already got my PAC and I'm moving back to o2 after my 2 day hiatus. Absolute cunts of the highest order.

You’ll get a “Welcome to BT” email tomorrow, telling you that you’re a valued customer!  I switched away from BT some time ago for similar reasons, but it must be said that 2 days is pretty spectacular!

Engineer today fitting the fibre modem thing and I got a text saying he's en route while he'd been here for about an hour.

I've actually been with them for nearly 20 days (according to them) but my number only moved to them, and started being used, on Tuesday.
