Can remember being exited as a kid because it was the first time I went on an escalator.

Getting a slight worry on about receiving a small pension from Legal and General.

I applied to take my workplace pension as a complete lump sum as this is my last year before I qualify for my State Pension and if I take it now I’ll not pay tax on it whereas next year I would.

I applied and filled in The relevant form before the Coronavirus took hold and it stated the usual time taken to pay out was 10-14 days.

I phoned 3 weeks ago and asked if all was well with my application and hadn’t forgotten any information. I was told all was well, it had been approved and should be transferred ‘very soon’.

I’m worrying that the financial hit taken by pension providers is seeing them holding on to pension payments.

Am I a bit paranoid?

Don't think they would be able to get away with that. Aside from the legals, it would destroy their reputation and so their business. More likely it's just taking a bit longer because they have people off sick and have had to change some processes etc due to remote working. Undertsnad the concern, I'd be worried in your shoes too, but think you'll be fine

Paranoid? No. Concerned? Yes. Justified? Yes. Keep ringing and emailing the thieving bastards up on a daily basis.

As I am not going to the barbers I decided to trim my eyebrows this morning. I used a trimmer and the setting it was on hardly touched the eyebrows, so I moved it up a notch.  Sad

I get two ISP quotes, one is £3k per month, the other is £8k per month. Exactly the same product and support, but different companies. Both use OpenReach.

The powers that be are delaying on making a decision. It will be saving the trust over £100k over 3 years.

What is the issue?

Went for my daily walk in a different direction today, up towards Brixton. On the route back I saw a lady walking her cat! i.e on a lead. The cat definitely didn't seem happy with what was going on!
