Disappointed there is no sign of any post re. Beckham’s Miami franchise - I was expecting at least one TEF’r to question why he hasn’t thrown his money in to Bury instead  Hmmm

Do you not get much attention at home?

Cheesy

People stood chatting in shop doorways annoys me immensely. Idiots.

I've never understood the loafer tassel shoe with half mast trousers and no socks look. It's awful. Especially worn by a bearded 18 stone fella  No

It's like the modern day equivalent of someone wearing sock braces.

Bane of my bloody life, where I take our lass for her swimming lessons the mothers just gather in doorways chattering and do not have the spatial awareness to move unless specifically asked, drives me round the bend!

We had been watching the Madrid game, it had just finished and I went up to the bar to pay my bill. I was there about 2 minutes and turned round and the bloke and his wife were on a table behind about 10 feet away. He caught my eye and said “my wife can’t see the tv” I said oh sorry you should have said and I would have moved, his wife smiled but he just went off on one about why not was stood there etc.
I asked him if he was on holiday which he replied yes, I then said “ it must be good to get away, relax and unwind you fucking prick”
It was at this point he realised three things. 1. I was bigger than him 2. I wasn’t going to wilt 3. I knew every fucker in the bar
He shut up

So his wife couldn't see the tv but he could? Sounds like the sort who'd start an argument with himself.

Also - the game had finished. Why did he want to see the TV?

I can't say I have, but it sounds like the sort of thing you should get checked out if you've had it for a while.

Beckham has money tied-up with Salford City (10% ownership) with his Manchester United mates so I imagine that venture excludes him from being Bury's saviour.

He also shares Inter Miami's franchise with billionaires.

"Limbs". Especially when preceded by "Absolute". Ditto "scenes".
