Videos of French police and the French fire brigade kicking the shit out of each other as part of nationwide protests that have been going on for weeks, nay, months.

Yet I look online on MSM and I find... nothing.

I couldn't find a thing on the Beeb's website. Until I did a search, when I found the last mention was 20 days ago.

Apparently it is all hunky dory in EU land, they don’t want the likes of us plebs seeing how shit it is. Could be the start of a lot of unrest throughout Europe in the summer. I hope I am wrong but I have a horrible feeling this year things are going to kick off.

yeah, i saw the above post, as I said its been going on for a year now, a mention of it in couple of newspapers on very few occasions is shit coverage of what's been going on over there, have you seen it on Sky/BBC or ITV news? I doubt it because it hasn't

Don't watch TV news, so no I haven't. But I have seen it in the print media a fair bit. Not been getting the coverage it merits, I'll grant you, but then nothing outside of our own navel-gazing has for the past 3 years because of Brexit. Shit news values? Yeah. "MSM" conspiracy? Nah.

Or you could just ask me. We had the slightly surreal experience of standing at the window the other weekend looking down on a running battle between police and rioters, with bins being set alight in the street below. It was like having seats in the Circus Maximus.

I keep seeing it used on twitter in relation to football and have no idea what it means?

W in football is a formation used in the 50's into the very early 60's, although I suspect it's something on Twitter it won't be that.

I just read a story about a drug dealer who had previous, up in court and pending a mandatory sentence of seven years, the Judge said there was "no reason why imposing the minimum sentence would be unjust", and promptly jails him for 5 years and 8 months.
I don't get it?  Huh?
