The only problem with neighbours we have is one built a gazebo at the end of their garden, right next to our fence.
No problem with that, as it doesn't block light.
What annoys me is when they put the TV in it or have (shit) music on in it, its fairly close to our living room and so you get it bleeding in when you have windows patio open in the summer. Also I don't want to listen to that while in the garden.
Just a lack of consideration for neighbours. Probably the same in most neighbourhoods.
And yeah,we are guilty of not politely complaining enough.
How big is the gazebo, might need PP? |

The joys of Stateside living. On one side we don't even have a fence, just open grass to the next door neighbours garden.
The downside of Stateside living - I got a letter with photo evidence included showing the weeds I needed to sort out in our first year from the HOA. If you don't fix it, they send people in and bill you.
Oddly, when we sold our house in Eldene, it turns out it had a Covenant on the land which required good maintenance of the gardens. It's pretty clear that is not known by the locals (I admit, mine was hardly a prime example either).

Another one, this time a neighbour problem. I have a large garden and it can be quite a job keeping on top of it. I've done my best and together with friends and a guy I hired, its tidy enough. However a small corner patch needs to be cleared. This is the next job on my garden list. However the neighbour who borders it has taken great exception to weeds growing under her fence. She has walked into my garden, uninvited, to accost me about it. She has now taken to accosting my friends, relations, visitors in fact anyone who turns up. She refuses to let me see the extent of weed incursion into her garden. I've written a note asking her to stop trespassing on my drive and garden. How can I sort someone like that out? I'm happy to clear the weeds and i should add that I've been unwell, to the point of being disabled. I actually feel threatened by this crazy old bat.
Our neighbours do fuck all with their garden. They have a big holly tree that overgrows onto our side, we get ALL the fucking leaves come over on to our patio, so much so ive ended up being a blower vac instead of sweeping it daily. Pisses me right off. My revenge is to do my blowing at 8 in the morning at weekends and chuck said waste over their fence. Wish they’d get it cut back but they dont gove a shit |

The prick next door trims their hedge which fronts onto the road one side and my drive the other. Upto this year he always did the top and both sides including my drive. The petty cunt has left about a six inch strip on the top on my side and left my side un trimmed. It’s pathetic. So the wanker is on holiday now. Time for some fun and games. I shall trim my side and sculpt the top bit he’s left which is on my side to look like a cock and balls 😁
