Against my better judgement I’ve booked flights to Athens with Ryanair. Went with BA in January but they’re £200 more expensive.

Could live to regret it as I’ve got a connecting flight from Athens.

I don't fly a lot but never had a problem with Ryanair in terms of either service or punctuality, in fact if anything they tend to arrive early.

Ryanait aren't as bad as people make out.
If you go expecting a get you A->B service with paying extra for luggage then you'll be fine.
BA still hold my wworst ever airline customer service record anyway.

Talking of which (unrelated), just booked Toronto for 2 weeks at the end of August. The Mrs hasn't seen any family for nearly 10 years so it'll be good.

Fuck me though 2.4K for four of us just on flights. From sodding Gatwick. Screw you school holiday prices.

For some inexplicable reason* I've had a painful arm for the last couple of weeks which has been diagnosed as golfer's elbow today. It's above a mildly annoying pain and it's making my 1 hr drive to and from work a nightmare.

* It's not my wanking arm before anyone suggests it.

Very sad story. Why is a 12 year old playing a game designed for adults?

Agreed, i know age limits are there as a guide as comeon, tell me none of you ever played a game or watched a film you were too young for but in this case at 12 years old, the gap was too much.

I remember having makes over for my 13th birthday and i was allowed down the video shop to rend a couple of films. (yes it that was that long ago) I wanted to rend a 15 but my dad flat right refused. I threw a massive fit in the shop and nearly had my party canceled so i gave in.

Parents these days are lazy, its as simple at that. I'm a parent myself and i admin on occasions i have given in to my kid to easy just because i couldn't be arsed with the hassle of having a stroppy kid. Its easily done but as a parent its your job to protect your children and whilst sometimes you need to pick your battles with them you've got to me pretty stupid to let them play games with this about of violence and sex content.

One of my sons is 5 and i wont even let him watch things like power rangers because whilst its a show and other kids in his school watch it, i know full well he will go to school and try and karate chop someone. Kids are so impressionable and even at 12, they are still kids and you must protect them.

While the kid should not have been playing such a game, the vast majority of kids manage to see such things with acting them out. If the kid was predisposed to do such a thing, then he was already pretty fucked up.

You can get a strap that goes around the arm to isolate the muscle in order for it to be used less. I had one and they really help.
