I do this - most of my colleagues do too. I get up, commute an hour then go to the gym before work, so eating before all of that is a not going to happen.

Or, cycle to work while eating your breakfast.

People who come in to work and then eat their breakfast.
Yeah, but that way it means you get paid for eating your breakfast !!, know many people who used to take advantage of this.

If it's a bacon bap or the like, I don't really have an issue. It's not much different from eating a sandwich at your desk.

But people who sit and eat bowls of cereal in the office are just weird.

Fuck that. People should be served a full English at their desk.

The canteen at my work do a decent full English buffet in the morning - when hungover I’ll often eat one at my desk

I fail to see the issue with this. By the time me and my wife get up and have the kids ready for school, i barely have  time for a shit let alone breakfast.
I often take a couple of banana's to eat at my desk or if i get to work in time, i'll grab a sausage and bacon butty

A guy I work with. He's in his 50's, no kids, lives 5 mins from work.
He comes in microwaves a bowl of porridge as soon as he gets here.
Why not do that at fucking home?

I have breakfast every morning, without fail, before I leave for work. I have a toddler, I fail to see how that's an issue.

People eating at their desks doesn't bother me at all, I do it most days at lunch time, but coming in to work and then microwaving your porridge as soon as you get in? Yeah, that mildly annoys me.

I look back on my and ex wife's years of working and bringing up little ones and it's a bit of a blur.... we did it, but not entirely sure how.

However, tea and some food before leaving the house, has always been, and still is a must.

I suppose the porridge fellow is cleverly getting paid for having his breakfast. Does he insist on defecating at work too? Deliberately using the company's time and resources (paper/ water etc).
