I was called up about 2 years ago now. Was week long case for gay rape. Was very tiring, but enjoyable. It is such a mind fuck. You think about it when you get home and night.

It is never an easy thing to decide.

It's not rape if you warn him. He might consent.

Well it still could be if you warn him, I do understand consent.

To change the subject after a regretable post...

Not saying no to cocaine on a work night.

Not that I ever would not say no to cocaine on a work night. What hole am I digging?

I think I might be having an online breakdown, which of course is trivial, ununderstanding and annoying.

Is ununderstanding a word?

I don't understand how all of a sudden there are woman on all football programs, I'm not against it but find it strange how they have shoe horned them onto the scene very quickly

I was called up about three years ago. I got picked first time round. One jury member had to drop out before being sworn in because he knew of the defendant. Then the trial started after we were all sworn in. The ‘victim’ came on via a video link after the opening legal submissions relating to the offences by both counsels. A juror got the attention of the court clerk, a quick exchange followed then an exchange by the clerk to the judge who halted proceedings. The judge asked this individual to confirm they knew the ‘victim’, which they did. He said why hadn’t they said so earlier when their name was read out in court (before the video link came on screen) to which said juror said they didn’t recognise the name. So the judge asked how do you know the ‘victim’? I work for the same company came the reply. I knew imeadiatley what the score was yet the judge couldn’t work it out and was getting a bit irritated. The bottom line was although they worked in the same company there were over 200 people in the company and the juror only knew the ‘victim’ by sight having seen them in the workplace but not knowing anything about them... result being we were all dismissed and had to be repicked and sworn in, which I wasn’t so had to hang around till just after lunch. Was let go and received a text late in the day to say I was released from service. FWIW I had doubts about the defendant being guilty after the opening submissions but I never did find out about the case in the local rag. So I assume he was either found not guilty or the case was dropped before it went much further.

I suspect 10 hours in the sea, imagining she was going to die might have been more punishment than "a slap"
