New custom is largely valued more than retention. True of pretty much everything I'm afraid.
Direct Line price matched themselves for me several times without quibble (new customer quote v renewal like yours).
Yeah Hastings Direct did too, after a phone call. I can kind of accept a percentage increase in renewal, for the reasons already posted, but a 100% hike? Bunch of fucking chancers... |

On the news that Visa is on the blink nationwide. Bollocks to technology. I hardly ever have cash in pocket nowadays.
A lot of that is to do with banks (well SWIFT) being way behind the times and stubbornly sticking with what they currently believe is the best option (SWIFT messaging). If only there was company that does this stuff faster, better and more securely or hasn't been hacked yet?  |

Group chats. The toxic kind. It's another level of online bullying and the poor person targeted might not even know until there's a huge amount of support in favour of participation. Kids can be awful, we all know that and bullying is something I largely managed to avoid growing up. I've actually experienced it more as an adult than I did as a kid.
Anyway, yeah those Group Chats. Awful. Would not want to be a kid entering their Teens (male or female) at this present time. At least when we were younger, if someone didn't like you they'd punch you and let you know.

Premier league ‘fans’ on twitter. Everyone seems to think the media has some kind of anti-(insert relevant club here) agenda against them. Currently it’s Spurs fans who are livid that Pochettino is being linked with the vacant Real Madrid job despite him just signing a new contract. It’s so pathetic.

Was watching a TV program about the 1970 and 1982 World Cups this morning on the History channel and Roger Malone was there reporting for ITV at the 1970 World Cup QF England v Brazil. I didn't know he was on mainstream TV before lowering himself to Bristol TV sorrry I mean HTV. |
