I don't care for or understand the need for scantily clad women at certain events. What grinds my gears is de gendering things. Headmaster / Headmistress = head teacher is one example. Why? People suggesting things like awards ceremonies should have best artist instead of male / female artist.

I had to go on a course last year about unconscious bias. I was asked how I got on. I said there are more things I can be consciously biased about now.
We're at the stage where you can't say anything without someone taking offence - its an industry now. People are trying to outdo each other in taking offence on others behalf. People are deliberately hunting stuff down that doesn't involve them to take some offence. I think it takes a particularly obnoxious mind to come up with some of the stuff I see now from the offended brigade. Their minds must be in darker places than those they accuse

This x3. Forum (of any kind) sets the platform for this. The closer and quicker the world gets, the more opinion we are exposed to. Maybe nothing has really changed an awful lot - rather we see/hear more of it.

Actually, sport is an area where I don't understand why we have the separation.  Sure, their are physiological reasons why men might well have an advantage, but there are others where that is not the case and it is reversed.  Even if that is the argument, that surely is just an argument for having divisions like a lot of sports do anyway.  We don't force Premier League teams to play non-league level players and we don't expect a Bantamweight boxer to step into the ring with a Heavyweight.

It is an area of life I would fully support the breaking up of male and female only versions.

Recently moved house and we’ve got one of those ‘water saving’ loos.

Except you have to flush the bloody thing twice to get rid of the contents.

Shit. That’s a very long time. I had it for about week - couldn’t walk without throwing up and staggering everywhere.

Hope it clears up soon.

My wife suffered a couple of years again and it was horrible. Lasted 4-6 weeks.

My son (4) did one so big this weekend that even after 4 flushes it just would not budge. Proud dad moment.
