the number of people whining about the roads.
yeah they aren't great to say the least. but it hammered down with snow. unless you want to triple council taxes to invest in more snow clearing vehicles and standby staff that are used one or twice a year chill out.
Gritter drivers , drive the bin waggon when its not snowing.

Gift giving as an adult has turned into my sister nagging me for links to what i want, so that she can give me a link for what she wants (conveniently never less than what i end up sharing).
It's an utterly pointless venture, especially when she wants vouchers
Just ask for Wiggle vouchers

Ok noted. Everyone I go with seems to have missed it.
Whatever the notice it's still a really dumb decision. It's a complete myth that this generates a net increase in the gate.

Our fans.
Power releases a statement to say thanks for travelling to Accrington, prompting some of the special element within our fan base to moan about it as it's not enough. He's in no way responsible, he can't control the fucking weather.

I saw the comments on FB and thought the same as you. Unbelievable.

It's a grand old team to play for, It's a grand old team to see, And if you know your history, It's enough to make your heart go whoa-oh, We don't care what the other teams say, What the hell do we care, For we only know that there's gonna be a show, And the Swindon Town will be there....

Went for a bracing 3 mile run over the frozen snow around Coate Water in the dark this morning, obviously had to be careful in places but successfully navigated my way round without slipping, sliding etc and it was absolutely glorious, really beautiful. Was just coming out on to Day House Lane congratulating myself on avoiding mishap as I got back onto the "safe" bits when I tripped over a fallen tree branch, went flying, did a full-on Superman and landed on my face. Sat here now with a fat lip, drinking coffee out of one side of my mouth. I'm sure the dog actually laughed at me

Last year I went down, on a wet slippy pavement in OT. rucksack of shopping on my back, so ended up like beetle. A nice fit young girl took pity on a poor old man and helped me back up proper loss of dignity.

Cuts to the knees, fat lip and a badly bruised ego Fortunately one of the benefits of going running early in the morning is there was no-one around to see me flying (except the dog)

This happens more frequently in older age Reg. it's like being under 5 again, you see it all the time with Pensioners, walking along and then with no possible obstacle they are flat on their backs.
