Taken me best part of 2 hours to replace 2 headlight bulbs. Biggest ball ache ever. The car was clearly made for people with tiny hands.

My old Scenic was the same, horrible to work on, so I paid the couple of quid extra and got the Halfrauds guy to fit it. Took him ages, ha!

We're looking to move and need references from our workplaces. My boss emails them back instantly with the required info, my other half's work pass all their reference requests to their head office, who instantly emailed back saying it'll be 3 working days. Dickheads. It's 6 questions, 2 of which are the name and job title of the person responding...

Name and shame

Vets Klinic.

Took him in for an operation this morning, but they called a short while later to say he was too anxious and it would be better to postpone (perhaps indefinitely). You always have to pre-pay with VK so we asked for a refund and they offered a credit note, or card refund less £5 fee. They said it was in the T&Cs (but I couldn't find it anywhere) and that it was a bank charge rather than their charge. Obviously they didn't have a clue what they were talking about.

One persistent phone call later and threatening to just do a Section 75 chargeback and they waived it though.

On a similar note, we are looking at getting a dog. Do you have to pay vets or just register? Best vet to use in Swindon? I always thought Drove was the best?

Wouldn't trust them, they cannot spell Clinic though vets were supposed to be clever?

Zippy eating food in the Peatmoor gastronomic food emporium that is the Woodlands edge yesterday. You'd think an athlete would shun such shit.

I'm surprised more pro athletes don't go down the fatty Prince Nassem route when they retire.

If I had been pretty much only eating healthy shit for 15-20 years then retirement would consist of eating like a fat fuck

I'd think you'd be in the habit of consuming loads of calories too, and it would be hard to change that when you retired. I eat loads because my job is physical, so as soon as I have even two days off I put weight on.

Cheeky pricks! They've always been decent with me although I've never needed a refund.
