It's still part of local folklore even today.

Dude I literally share your pain. Was five miles in to a 10 mile run Monday and I got stomach cramps and a feeling of dread.

I was close to having to shit in the woods. But I am neither a bear or the Pope.

Mercifully clench and pray seemed to work. Wait, maybe I am the pope.

Wait...so have you shit yourself?

"Cut short rather than caught short" is my motto!

Quite, though it stopped after 8 and "luckily" my legs gave up after 9. Which is a bit of a bugger given the half is less than a month away and I've got two enforced training breaks coming up.

Hey ho.

To make things worse they collected half of the street, and then got to a point and stopped. Useless

For anyone looking for closure, our rubbish was eventually collected midday today

My rubbish gets collected once a week and the recycling bin is bigger than the the normal one, which is bigger than a UK one.  They don't take glass though - costs too much so they don't bother!  The things are so big we don't bother every other week to put them out.  I shudder at the thought of every seeing the local landfill.

There'll be plenty of worthless land around after Trump has laid waste to the Korean Peninsula... probably a bit in  Europe as well after Kim's WMD's have plopped off target.

According to the Met Office, it is 15 degrees C outside.  According to my wall barometer, it's 19 degrees inside. Kind of what you'd expect for a wet day in nearing mid August.  I have opted for trousers over shorts, mind.

They aren't even close to being able to reach Europe yet!

That's reassuring, I was thinking about dusting down the old 80's Protect and Survive booklet.

At least back then Thatcher's Governemnt was capable of producing such a thing... way beyond May's competence
