I've just purchased one of these because my arms are properly fucking sore. Got one of these for the bird last year and it's great.

Not sure you can force your way into someones house after telling them you are going to kill them and assault them and then claim manslaughter?

Needing someone to talk to but feeling like a burden on them. Cyclic misery.

A typically British problem.

On that bombshell my impending redundancy has thrown up a curved ball from my missus. "Why don't you take yourself away for a cpl of weeks to chill and unwind" "Like where?" "Where would you like to go?" "Cyprus?" "OK, see if you can get a last minute piss off the next day type of deal" I didn't see that coming. Bit like the redundancy too. But seriously I'd have to go on my own. I hate my own company, I need to be around people I know. So I'll stew in self pity in the back garden drinking ice cold wife beater.

I was made redundant recently. Happened the same time my long term relationship broke down (Not related). The toughest thing for me was having no one to talk things through. I took it as an opportunity to retrain and walk away from a career that, although it paid reasonably well, I realised I didn't actually like. Still early days but I'm glad I made the change.

Well done you. I've thought about training to do something else but with a mortgage until 64, a young lad in RWBA and being mid '50's I'm not sure it's a risk I can take.

Yeah, it was easier for me as I've  (now) got no commitments and no one relying on me. I've taking a big cut in salary, but my outgoings have reduced too, so I'm getting by. I was lucky that I got a job the day I was made redundant too, so I've managed to salt most of my redundancy away as well.

I've not even been in my job two years yet and I'm ready for a change.
