Is that the first roundabout at the bottom of the hill?

I just don't let them in.

remember the kid who was disgustingly arrested for bringing a clock into school because the teacher thought it might be a bomb.

my sympathy is now waining, he's suing for $15M!

Yeah, there was a lot more to that story than immediately met the eye. They're also moving to Qatar, which is a nice way of showing your love for equal treatment of all peoples.

No one seems to be addressing the issue that it really does look like a fucking bomb. If I saw a device like that I'd probably report it too.

The special treatment the kid has received is ridiculous. I built a pneumatic toy at school that looked fuckloads better than that clock!

He didn't even "build" it. He took the workings out of a digital alarm clock and stuck the bits in a briefcase. No electronics, no engineering. Just "cut and paste".

Nemo's right, there's a lot more to the story. I feel that was at least a portion of this that was intentional and pre-planned by the family.

I just read a few tweets from Richard Dawkins saying the same thing. Would be interesting if it ever actually made it to court then.

Sounds as though he (and his parents?) knew exactly what he was doing.

Yep, ideal timing for such a wind-up.

To be fair, the school were quite heavy handed with a boy. A ticking off would have sufficed.

They should have clocked what was going on but were too alarmed not to.
