A part of me understands the logic in people being allowed to defend themselves. I don't agree that's the solution, but there is a case there, albeit a weak one.
But then they go selling them fucking assault rifles. The name should be a bit of a clue that perhaps selling assault rifles to people is not a good idea!

The logic seems to be "he has a gun, so I'll get a bigger gun to defend myself". If they removed guns then that logic would/should vanish.

There is the problem. The authorities wouldn't be able to just round them all up. Pretty much only the law abiding citizens, who probably wouldn't even end up firing their gun in their entire life, will give them up. |

I live in Wales and we've had it for about 4 years I think.. It's funny the way the media have reported it as if it's completely new and is going to break the fabric of universe. The 3 million of us here have coped alright. |

There was something on the news earlier about people taking baskets out of Tesco with shopping in because they wouldn't pay for a carrier bag. Absolutely ridiculous. |
