Since when did so many people start putting 'right?' at the end of sentences. So annoying.

Even worse when it both starts and finishes a sentence.

Right Said Fred, are too sexy for their shirts, right?

I've started to do that, and I don't really know why!

I think it's because my boss is Aussie and he does it!

You are totally correct though, I need to snap out of it, right?

You have no idea how much you and Audrey's posts have annoyed me (temporarily). It's really grating.

I wouldn't change it for the world, but can't remember the last time I was still in bed past 7. The kids were up at 6.15am this morning and most mornings...

So, (  Cheesy  )  he probably answers every question by saying "Look,..........." , right?  (   Cheesy  )

He does start most sentences with so and look!!

Also though, look at how crap tv shoes like 'friends' has influenced the way people speak. So often I hear conversations when people use the phrase 'and he/was like blah blah blah'. That irritates me.

so it's still not nearly as annoying as politicians using phrases like "lets be clear" as if it makes their answer to a question the definitive one, and "lessons have been learned" to try and smooth over fuck ups whilst telling everyone to shut up. right?

My wife is watching X Factor (and that is reason enough to be in this thread), but they've just had a Oreos advert in which they use the Three Little Pigs story.  They show the three houses of straw, twigs and brick and that the wolf blows them ALL down...that's not how the story goes...bloody marketing.

We live in a fucked up world. That's just the final piece in the jigsaw that was required to prove the point.

So I suppose they are saying that the house made of Oreos couldn't be blown down? Fuckers.

Oh yes - and as Barry rightly says, Oreos are shit. I love America but they don't have a clue where chocolate or even anything chocolate based is concerned.
