No one has ever committed an act of violence while listening to classical music.

I fucking love classical music. I often listen to it with the volume turned low as background music when I'm working. I find it helps to filter out the other, more distracting, background noises. It can be easy to end up turning the volume right up and getting a bit carried away at times though.

I like listening to Ride of the Valkyries when I drive as it makes it much more fun when I run over old ladies.

An update on other peoples parenting peaves.... 'boundary stage' being used instead of 'terrible twos' when discussing your own kids. Fuck right off. Pretentious in the extreme.

I have a 2 year old and "the terrible two's" works just fine for me. It really can be fucking terrible, we had an hour long tantrum today for reasons unknown.

'Boundary stage'? Who comes out with such shit?

'Hang outside the window twos' should be accurate for some children.

Not that I would ever tell people how to parent.

But it gets better. Troublesome three's. My 4 year old is going on 14.
