The culvert at the bottom of my garden is flooded and we have a little family of ducks swimming about down there so I took Billy out to feed them.

Except I threw some bread and my phone fell out of my coat pocket and into the culvert!!

What am I missing? Aren't they only dangerous to other anti-vaxers? Satisfying natural selection like when drug gangs shoot each other or rival firms beat each other up.

Pretty much what Leggett said. There are people (not just babies) that, for whatever reason, cannot be vaccinated. They rely on herd immunity to keep healthy. If too many people choose not to vaccinate then potentially fatal diseases can spread through the population and the most vulnerable die first.

It's not just the risk that irks me. The sheer fucking stupidity of it makes my teeth itch.

You need someone to sort out the drainage in your lower field.

This is not a euphemism.

Culvert and a French Drain - many aspire to such things!

I have just spent an entire afternoon writing a report justifying a French Drain for a listed building consent application - possibly the most tedious afternoon ever!

Stubborn old people.

Just found out the F-in-Law has been 'persuaded' to buy a hearing aid from Hidden Hearing.

£7 fucking grand. And it is worse than the NHS one he used to have.

An old lady I've been looking after has just done the same thing and it's absolutely useless. Glad she's got a few quid otherwise I'd be fucking livid.

On the subject of old people. my mum gave her bank details to a bloke on the phone 2 weeks ago claiming to be from talk talk. She immediately phoned me saying she through she had made a mistake, and I told her to contact her bank, which she did.

I didn't think any more of it until she called me today asking me to pop round and have a look at her phone bill. She is deaf as a post, and had called 118 118 to try to get the number for her local Lloyds Bank. For whatever reason, that call lasted 29 minutes, and she was billed £102 for the call!

Fair play to Talk Talk, once I managed to get through to customer services, they agreed to write off £80.
