After getting repeated emails about PPI (I've never had a policy with PPI and its no big deal to delete the mails) I had a call today about PPI. It came from number 0161 861 4000 so if you get a call from this number, my advice would be to not answer it.

I get 5 of those a day, I get repeated calls about "I've had an accident" (how a Chinese guy thinks that is amazing) and more calls on "my laptop is giving the Internet viruses" (only £50 quid to cure that particular one) And it must be genuine as the guy is from virginbt...

Waitrose withdrawing its free tea/coffee unless you buy 'something to eat' has made me all indignant and middle class.

If I could afford to eat something from the Waitrose cafe I wouldn't be sponging free Coffee off them. £4.50 for one round of sandwiches? It better be made of fucking dodo meat.

My other half works in a nursery, for which she gets paid next to nothing. The company have to redo everyone's CRB checks (or whatever they're called now) and the bosses decided to only pay half, leaving the staff to pay for the rest. Pretty shitty if you ask me.

They can only do that if it is in her contract, if it isn't then she should refuse to pay it, they couldn't sack her for not having one as it would be the responsibility of the company to get check done, but if it is part of her contract she should be able to claim most of the cost back from the tax man.

I've spent nearly 20 quid on Imodium in 3 days. Share prices must be rocketing!!!

On the plus side I've lost half a stone. :-)

Huth being banned for 2 games for playing "cock or no cock" on Twitter. Surely on his own private Twitter account he should be allowed to say what he wants without sanction.

He can say what he likes as far as I'm concerned.

It won't stop the perpetually offended getting their knickers in a twist though.

I would just tell them all to fuck off.

Luckily, I'm not famous.

Having said that, if I'd banked what he has in life, I'd still tell them to fuck off and damn their pathetic squeals. Career or no career.

What has happened to all the cats eyes and painted white lines on major roads these days? Plus the shocking state of the road surfaces. It's like driving down a farm track on a lot of A roads these days. Not good enough!
