BBC showing Arsenal v Hull City in the FA Cup 3rd round. Where is the imagination in this? Surely there must be more romantic ties out there? Tranmere v Swansea for example.

Ha ha sorry FH, I know this is a royal PITA for you, but your post did make me laugh. Not least because it's precisely the kind of fuckwittery I do.
The worst thing of all was the look that the misses gave me. I think it was a mix of despondency and pity, almost as though she's just given up on me. I think I'd have preferred anger and hatred, it would have been less cutting.

Why do people write banal, uninteresting letters to newspapers?
Someone wrote one in today's paper complaining about the increasing use of the word 'guys'.

Good as the people who write into newspapers saying that the reason there are queues on the A303 past Stonehenge is because people 'slow down to look' when actually it's because that road coming over the hill turns into a piece of shit single carriageway.

She's the newspaper equivalent of a 'shock jock', spouting bile to get ratings. Doubt she really believes her own shite .

The BBC's (and especially 606).bloody love in with Bournemouth!
Can someone provide me with some figures that I can tweet to them every week to illustrate what an unstable house of cards their club is!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27224806http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/11180579.AFC_Bournemouth__Cherries_post___15million_losses/'Overall costs for wages and salaries were declared as £10,996,137 – an increase of more than £7million from the previous year – while the club spent £3,240,109 on player transactions after July 31, a sum which will be accounted for in next year’s figures' They spent 11m on wages to get out of division one. Money owed to their owner. I believe at 6%. Should he pull put the whole house of cards comes tumbling down. During the same period we were being chastised everywhere as someone mentioned the possibility of administration. In addition Muff at that period we were being kicked around the press took the chance to swoop in and take Ritchie for fuck all. Whilst they had a bigger squad, larger wages and smaller crowds coming in. Whatever. The bbc whilst pretending to be experts dont look further than the surface.

The higher the are, the harder they will fall when the inevitable implosion takes place.

I bought a burger from a van outside the Notts County ground before the game yesterday. The guy says that'll be £3.00. I pointed to the price list behind him and said "It says £2.80 on your price list". The guy removes the price list and there is another one behind it with all the prices 20p higher. The guy charges me £2.80 and says "sorry mate, I forgot which van I'm in today". Eh?

Or with slightly less Swindon-tinted glasses on, we were slagged off for unsustainable spending under Di Canio which did indeed turn out to be unsustainable as Black pulled the plug and waved the administration card to force a sale to the first bunch of cowboys that rolled round the corner. And Bournemouth smartly took advantage of our distress, as we would in their shoes. Don't see how that's Bournemouth's fault, that's just mismanagement by our board/owner at the time.
