It wasn't an attempt at a joke, I think he was trying to make the point that the high level of immigration has put a strain on our transport network. But given that he was traveling along the M4 on a Friday evening, particularly near the bottleneck around Newport, I don't think in this case it had much relevance. |

Depends if it involves Farage - if so, we won't hear anything yet - Carter Ruck. The papers are still nervous about printing stories about high level corruption involving senior UKIP members and the Metropolitan Police. |

The massive increase in transport on our roads has always puzzled me. I started driving in 1987 when the UK population was around 57 million. The population is now around 65 million, an increase of about 14%. The number of cars on the road in that time has increased in my eyes by around 60%. Do people just travel on their own these days?
