First there were cars with eyelashes added, but now I've just seen one with fake reindeer antlers. Why?

Lady Jenkin....Tory peer on the CoE parliamentary panel reporting about the rise in hunger and food banks in Britain, saying "the poor go hungry because they can't cook"
This coming a couple of days after a report that the Lord and Lady Peers of the Realm, had voted not too use the same caterers as the Commons as a tax payer's money saving move, because they serve an inferior brand of champagne.

Whilst we are on politics, what the fock was Farage on about in regard to being late to something in Wales.
He mentioned the m4 being crap and something about immigrants. Didn't catch the whole story on the news. Was it a bad attempt at a joke?

Don't worry, they've just suspended their General Secretary for "impropriety". Considering this is fucking UKIP and they think it's an instant sacking offence, I suspect the redtops may have a good story for tomorrow...

It wasn't an attempt at a joke, I think he was trying to make the point that the high level of immigration has put a strain on our transport network. But given that he was traveling along the M4 on a Friday evening, particularly near the bottleneck around Newport, I don't think in this case it had much relevance.

Depends if it involves Farage - if so, we won't hear anything yet - Carter Ruck. The papers are still nervous about printing stories about high level corruption involving senior UKIP members and the Metropolitan Police.

Think Farage was moaning about traffic congestion caused by Welsh immigrants into England...

The massive increase in transport on our roads has always puzzled me. I started driving in 1987 when the UK population was around 57 million. The population is now around 65 million, an increase of about 14%. The number of cars on the road in that time has increased in my eyes by around 60%. Do people just travel on their own these days?
