No, just the shirt. It's quite warm in here.

Losing in a penalty shoot out this morning...

I am absolutely shattered. 4 mile run, then 120 minutes of football...

This picture.

Have to agree with the Independent on this.  What is it about politicians that makes it impossible for them to connect with people?  Someone in Tory HQ clearly thought that this was going to look good on TV.  They'll never get it.

Professional career politicians, special advisors and the like have much to answer for.

Probably not a popular one.  The Ryder Cup - and, in particular, all of the self-congratulatory smarm that goes with it.  It's one of those things that I'm not really able to put that well in to words, but the way the teams go about the whole competition really gets my back up.  The jackets, the manicured wives, the players bitching at each other.  Everyone just seems so far up their own arse.  Don't like it.

Out of respect for the golfing enthusiasts on here, I'll stick to this thread and leave the Ryder Cup one alone.  But thought it only right to provide a little evidence for my earlier post.  It doesn't get better than this.

If you're ever approached by a designer because your other half is playing in a competition and asked if you'd consider wearing the same gear as all of the other other halves - like you're in some sort of affluent cult - I believe the correct response should be 'Fuck off, you twat.'  Some people have no shame.

Has UKIP got returning the Ryder Cup back to being GB and Ireland v USA in its manifesto?

Finding out that our school nurse, who is onsite 30 hours a week, doesn't 'do' first aid!

Fifty quid to watch Simple Minds in a sports hall.

FIFTY POUNDS. That's scandalous.

I watched a gig at the Oasis once. I forget which band is was, they had a hit out at the time (their only one I think).

The band was terrible, the venue was worse.
