I, myself have mused about the patent lyrical absurdity of the Band Aid ditty....nevertheless at the time, it was a force for good, a reminder of the power of collective action.

What was the American song called? Was it 'we are the world'?

You Europeans always misinterpret lyrics and take them too literally.

It's the middle of August, and he's picking holes in a 30 year old Christmas number one. I agree the song is bollocks, but he's missed the boat somewhat. I never thought I'd defend anything to do with Bonio, but I do not agree at all with the final paragraph, he's deliberately misplacing the intent behind that line. Bonio is still a cunt though.

Aye, the pictures of seeing such a great player looking like he now does is so depressing. Nothing we can do I guess...

Don't even get me started on peoples spelling and grammar. Now i know people suffer from dyslexia but there are people who are just down right stupid and can't spell and it annoys the shit out of me and i find myself holding myself back from saying anything when i see facebook comments.

A common one i see is 'are' instead of 'i'll' such as "I don't think are go to football today"

There are so much more but i'll be here all day.

Along the same lines of The spelling and grammar theme, are parents that spell their child's names like how they are said.

For example, Jazzmin and Leeam (Liam)
