The fact that the whole of football are supposed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough, but nobody (outside Bradford) did the same for the anniversary of the Bradford fire.

I think difference is, aside from that it was tragic, unlike others it was a watershed moment in British sport. It revolutionised stadia safety and to some extent it's more dubious legacy was the Premier League.

Also unlike Bradford it was less an accident and more to do with failings in authority who then proceeded to cover it up in a web of systematic corruption, and it has taken an awfully long time to bring people to justice.

Those are what mark out Hillsborough as being different.

Agree to point here, but I'm trusting the kick off will be delayed for the Bradford disaster at the end of the season? Nope.

I'm actually bored of having Hillsborough rammed down my throat at every opportunity, they had their verdict they've got their inquests, it seems we hear the same every year.

A kick off delayed by 7 minutes and a minutes silence takes the piss, should have just had a minutes silence.

Call me heartless if you want but its my opinion. My hatred of Liverpool FC is well documented and of course we should be pay our respects to the 96 but its being milked now.

I think point you made about Bradford is valid, like wise with Ibrox and other tragedies. I also think Hillsborough may have a greater effect on certain generations. Being of that age when I can remember being packed into football pens, whalloped by surges, knocked over and trampled on when we scored means that the tragedy had a special significance to many fans of the era as it could have happened anywhere - it was just a matter of time.

I was 16 at the time and on that day went to Swindon v Watford. The club relayed news of what was happening on the scoreboard and we got home and saw the aftermath on TV - it was horrid. Couple that with the injusticies that followed and it's no wonder of it's prevalence in today's media - which may be hard for people who were young or not even born to understand.

You can, but you have to pay, and the service is normally shite. That is very annoying.

Evo-Stik (used in an adhesive role and not the fumes nasally).

Bloody stuff. It always seems to migrate like buggery and you spend hours after using it picking a second skin off.

I think that it more the inadequate spreader that comes with the can. You need to use a lot to stick a carpet down.

The memorial service at Anfield today has a minutes silence at 3.06 when the game a Hillsborough was stopped - so why were the weekends games started at 3.07?
