sorry to drag this up regarding pubs again and especially the greenman but i've just received a phone call from the met police football leason officer.

i'd emailed them early last week regarding allocation of pubs and which ones are Swindon.

He talked me through the ones which the official site mentioned and also the decision to allocate the greenman.

it was the landlords decision not the police. he had millwall last year but decided whoever had the most booking he would have this year.
Swindon so far have 17 coaches booked for the greenman arriving anytime after 10:30am.
He has sufficiant security for the pub plus police presence regarding entrances to the pub etc.
Checks are in place to determin Millwall & Swindon as he doesn't want the two together.

whether thats your pub of choice or not just thought i'd share what he told me.

I was wondering where everyone is going for a drink before the match, 7 of us are going to Ruislip high street(lots of pubs) for a couple of hours something to eat and then 20 minutes on the Tube
Where is everyone else going

Thanks MR. Looks like this landlord (oxford fan or not) seems to give a different answer to which ever fans ask him, according to the Oxford and Millwall forums. Looks like he is trying to keep everyone happy!  Hmmm

If the pub is open at 10.30 I may be brave and venture there!   Yes No Yes No  not sure yet!  Cheesy

I told you in the text earlier.

I didn't say I didn't want to go to any pub.

Totally untrue.

Let's be honest, it's not going to kick off at this fucking pub is it, the lads who are up for a rumble are gonna be a bit more coy about it.

yeah cracking view from there Si.

even though when Blackpool were walking up the stairs to collect the trophy the camerman stopped on row 18 and gave a perfect view of what my view would be like. i'm definitely happy with where i'm standing
