Emotionally drained.

Wemberlee is going to be the same.

After years of dross and fuck all happening. I just can't take the pressure.

well done to the lads.  Really pleased for Smithy who has had more than his fair share of the boo boys.

Back on the subject of the actual game. I thought that some of Charlton's long range efforts were absolutely cracking tonight. They got so many on target or very close. I'm wondering if they didn't do their homework on Smith. If they had maybe they'd have known that he's one hell of a shot stopper but flaps around at corners like a gay man in a public lavatory.

Worked out for us though, Smith more than redeemed himself on some proper scramble stuff aswell and good god I'm buzzing. I ain't at one with Billy Shears though. Too far.

You fucking love me, and you fucking know it.

Buzzing, yes.  Eloquent, no.  I'm off to bed to dream Wembley dreams.

Wanker, didn't realise you boys on the thread had to put up with this prick.

as I said to the Reading fan before he also vanished, I don't mind rival fans trolling but it's a proper nuisance when your trying to follow a game on a mobile when a thread is getting clogged up with those sort of comments.

Of course I love you you silly twat. You should come down to visit.

I should really be off to bed too, but I've decided that's futile at the moment so have poored my self a rather large glass of wine. It's that last one though. I do have to be at work for 7.30 tomorrow.

To quote a fictional charachter I may or may not have been compared to over the years.

I don't believe it

I'm repeating myself here I know, but I wasn't confident about tonight at all. Then Lucas went off, Smith fucked up the cross for the goal, we went down another one and Greer stupidly got himself sent off; just as things looked as if they were starting to go our way a bit.

Then our goal went in, and it was a minute of hapiness, followed by remembering that earlier on today I'd thought we'd lose 3-1.

Still pessamistic.

Charlie Austin through on goal and their man gets rightfully sent off. Things felt really level for the first time in the match. But at the same time I was wondering if the Charlton player had done the right thing. Would Austin have gone on to score from that chance. Maybe that was our chance.

Extra time, extra time. I think at that point it was penalties all the way. Still more than a few shitting it moments.

I didn't know what to expect on penalties. We were minus Paynter who's taken them all season, but the scene was set for Smith to redeem himself. Neither were factors at the end of the day, but god I hate living through that shit.

Sorry about the spelling. broke it.

You've got tomorrow off work and you're going to bed. I'm not sure if you're setting a good example or if I should offer you £40 to swap places.

Just got back from the game. Unbelievable atmosphere, Charlton fans singing we're going to Wembley after half an hour feels pretty sweet now

good job boys
