If Dougie or Cuthbert had of stepped up they would have been gutted to miss, i don't think Darby would have been overly traumatised. Well done, You Reds. That was an absolutely incredible match, and your boys showed the hearts of lions.  Wee Ferry battled back well after his mistake at the first goal, big Cuthbert was immense, and McGovern was incredible. Ward looks a real class act. Shame about Greer, but maybe that central defence you finished with will suit you on a big pitch like Wembley. WEMBLEY!! My God, just think about that. I spent the evening in a quiet pub in my northern Shropshire town - the only other person in there was a Leeds fan who watched the whole thing with me. His view on us was that of all the teams they'd played this season, he thought we should be the team to go up. He wished us good luck in the final. I liked him. I like everything. Ferry fucked up but he's young and he's also very, very good. I'd happilly take him off your hands next season - and his attitude is absolutely spot on. Cuthbert is absolute quality. As Meatloaf said 2 out of 3 ain't bad - hutchinson was a useless, lazy cunt with an appalling attitude. Maybe he'd like to see Ferry at Wembley to see what he could have had if he had shown the same desire.

Back on the subject of the actual game. I thought that some of Charlton's long range efforts were absolutely cracking tonight. They got so many on target or very close. I'm wondering if they didn't do their homework on Smith. If they had maybe they'd have known that he's one hell of a shot stopper but flaps around at corners like a gay man in a public lavatory.
Worked out for us though, Smith more than redeemed himself on some proper scramble stuff aswell and good god I'm buzzing. I ain't at one with Billy Shears though. Too far.
