he got the run around at left-back by one of the best wingers in this league, moved to centre back and was absolutely fucking rock solid.

but don't let that bias you, eh?

fair to say. shame greer wont be there but i hope Sheehan is fit and Mancs should start at right back.

You can see he is a confidence player. His distribution and interplay going forward when playing CB was so much better than at LB. Thought he just grew and grew.

I was talking about O'Brien actually but I guess you could say the same about LJF!

Paynter looked unfit tonight or was it just me who thought that?

I guess in the final the team will be Smith, Darby, Lescinel, Cuthbert, Sheehan, McGovern, Ferry, Douglas, Ward, Paynter, Austin?

If Sheehan doesn't recover i'd guess that Amankwaah will play RB and Darby will play LB.

WELL DONE BOYS! GREAT TEAM SPIRIT!

Greer has been off the pace last 5 odd games but feel sorry for the bloke. Captained the team all season and misses the finale but he cant complain over the sending off.

I was hoping JD would step up for the last penner, but it wasn't to be Sad

Thought Smith played an absolute blinder, dug us out the shit a couple of times. Thought Manks had an awesome game as well. Having said that, I think Dougie and JP were amazing tonight. They certainly rose to occasion but made it look like it was just another game, especially during ET.
In all fairness, poo came out of me when I saw Lecs was starting, from then on I thought it was going to be a long night. Credit where its due though at CB he was solid.

I presumed it would be him too. Had Austin, Ward, JPM and JD down as 4 out of the 5 penalty takers and was trying to work out who'd be the fifth. I was wronger than I thought.

Liverpool are about the only English team who can claim to be shit hot in penalty shoot-outs.

Back to what's important though: best Town team since '93. Ability, fight, bottle, the lot. Come on you fucking Reds!!!
