Yeah, the Duke's looking into it, but they're from the coasts (JFK, LAX, SFO) not Chicago and even if they were from Chicago he's not going to make it back for the game

Chicago at present but have been working in Milwaukee.

Ah, the Windy Apple...oh wait...that was Capital City in The Simpsons Roll Eyes

Chicago...a fine sporting city if ever there was one. At the moment you've got baseball, basketball (play offs) and ice hocky (play offs) No, I know nothing could possibly replace the Theatre of Dreams that is the County Ground but you might as well make the best of a bad job. This weekend you have a choice of the following fixtures:

Basketball:
The Bulls are out of town unfortunately, they are playing Cleveland in the NBA play offs.

Baseball:
The White Sox are out of town, however, you have the following options available:
17th April Chicago Cubs v Houston Astros  (played at the famous Wrigley Field - very nice, historical ball park)
18th April as above

Ice Hockey:
16th April Chicago Black Hawks v Nashville Predators (play offs - tickets could be expensive)
18th April as above

I just checked for tonight and there are still tickets available..cheapest one will set you back 181 yankee dollars and 54 cents. Ouch! Check out a sports bar would be my advice. Are you 'in town' or stuck out at the airport?

Go to the scalper just before face off and try your luck, they may have some single tickets they can''t shift.

If you can't get one then drive 106 from Chicago, fill the car up, buy half a pack of cigarettes and take some sunglasses.

No go anywhere. A colleague has just been turned away at NY flying into Scotland.

Looks like it will be a match thread tomorrow.

Will be heading off to Chicago Centre tomorrow to enjoy the day.

Even worse the women love you here and I'm married.

I think you will find your marriage licence applies to the UK only, not the USA. In the USA, you are legally single Wink

It looks like the weather is pretty nice there, I suggest you get yourself down to Wrigley Field and watch the Cubs v Astros and have a few beers. Game starts at 12.05pm your time. That actually sounds pretty damned good to me right now Cool

Cheers OST - How ironic that Mr Coy now has my Corporate seat for the day !!

Just tried to see NY options but all booked and advised to stay put. My colleague however got lucky and landed earlier into Scotland.

Will head into Chicago and take in the sights.
