I remember one died at the scene and Kevin Speight died in hospital.

It's still so shocking, I love football, but why the fuck anybody would want to end another persons life over it is beyond me.

Having just watched the highlights of Norwich vs Leeds, and the interviews after, I have come to two conclusions.

1. Leeds raised their game for their cup final and still lost, as shown by Grayson's insistence that if they play that well for the rest of the year they'll go up.

2. Was it Nelson that kicked Douglas in the face in front of the TE? If so, that's two in two weeks now and thankfully Douglas didn't come off half as bad as Becchio. If it was him both times, somebody really needs to have a word.

Whilst I agree completely that it is shocking, do you think they were unprovoked attacks?

It will be a nightmare if anybody makes any gestures during the minutes silence. Not only is it disrespectful to the fellow fans memory but it will wind their crowd up so much that they may forget how badly they are playing and get behind their team.

They'll beat us, really can't see them losing another one on the trot. If they're remembering the two lads on the day aswell that'll make them up their game.

Yeah 'cause lets face it, over the last ten games they've managed to beat the likes of Oldham and the mighty Tranmere and errrrrr ................no-one else.

That fucking freaked me out on the highlights, one of the worst things I've seen on a football pitch. It looked like Becchio was unconscious by the time he hit the ground, like he'd just been hit by Tyson or something. Good to see he's doing ok.

Can he play on Saturday? Don't players have to have a week off from playing if they're knocked unconscious? Or have I made that up?
