I remember seeing them back in December 1990 supported by The Pastels and The BMX Bandits. Bobby Gillespie jumped on stage at the end and they did a cover of The Beatles' Get back

saw them at the institute in brum around that time, but i wasnt cool enough to know what booby gillespie looked like.

I've seen them a few times. There was once a picture in the NME of them playing at The Venue in New Cross. I was in the picture looking like a complete bellend. I know that's probably hard to believe, but it's an image that still makes me cringe to this day.

I didn't mind being in the NME, but looking like a complete git caused me many sleepless nights. I was down the front and getting crushed and my facial expression made me want to build a time travel device and go back in time to stop my parents meeting. Similar to Back to The Future, but with a more downbeat ending.

I still love them,might try and go see them in Bristol but Im pretty rubbish at doing  so probably not.
