Why isn't Smith being blamed after one goal conceded in three games?

Very valid point you make Crozzer..i am not a fan of Smith,i feel he is to flat footed at times and dosnt command his area enough. In saying that he was very competent yesterday and superb at Brighton and Saints so credit ware it is due..we have three good keepers at the club and even a youth keeper on trial at Liverpool..happy days indeed.

Somebody did blame him for not coming for it a few pages ago. Can't remember who.

Smith is a great shot stopper without doubt, but goalkeeping is not just about that, his command of the six yard box and crosses is very poor.

I am absolutely seething. I know I shouldn't read thisis. But I did. What a bunch of dribbling mongs.
"Oh I still don't agree with Austin going off" Fuck off you idiot. Am I the only one that could see Pericards presence made one hell of a difference?
I am still raging about the booing. Who the fuck are these people? FFS we are 4th we were chasing the game, changes needed to be made.
It's pricks like these that I can see driving Wilson out should another club be interested.

Booing Wilson for the Austin substitution wasn't just about the game yesterday. Wilson has repeatedly substituted Austin even when there has been no apparent reason to and there have been other far more obvious substitutions to be made. Its gradually built up and yesterday was the first time people expressed their opinion vocally.

Booing should not come into the equation after the season we've had... But Swindon fans are thick as fuck - King had the same problem if he ever tried to sub off Parkin. We like to have a team of ten nobodies and one superstar.

Some people seem to have forgotten that Charlie was a brickie until October. He's never trained full time before, much less played 3 pro games in a week. Maybe, just maybe, Danny Wilson (you know, the one who has 30+ years experience of pro football and has led us to a completely unexpected 4th place and kept us in the play-off places pretty much constantly since October) knows what he is doing when it comes to man management and is trying to avoid burning out a player who's adapted far better to the rigours of the professional game than anyone has a right to expect? Just a thought like.
