i have mates that lump that sort of money on.went to ascot with them last year and it was mental the money they were betting.my £20 each way was peanuts to their stakes.
we all won that day though, and i was trollied on the cocktails. Smiley

Think the most I've ever put on a bet was £300 and it lost. Nowadays I don't have that sort of money lying around in a betting account as it would get withdrawn very quickly!
