Right, I am hijacking this thread for my iTunes question.

I had De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising on my computer and in my itunes a little while ago. About a month ago I discovered it was no longer there, just the track 'Eye Know'. I checked and the folder was still on my hard drive, tried re-adding it with no luck, so deleted it and re-acquired it. It still won't show up in my library though when I try and add it in. Any ideas? So far as I know, this has only happened to this album.

HA - well played Sam. It's not named differently - it's not named at all! I found the intro track, guess I'll go through track by track and sort them all out. Cheers.

I've used a program called ID3-TagIT in the past and it's reasonable for freeware.

Kind of related question but does anyone know of any really cheap MP3 players that are I tunes compatable?  I say cheap as I use my iphone daily for the built in i pod but I want a cheap one for my holiday as don't want to have my mobile phone anywhere near me.  I don't care how basic as I literally want to listen to music anf thats all.

Just get any old thing which will play AAC format.

If you've downloaded stuff from iTunes way back when then you'll probably need to 'upgrade' some of the songs to work as they are protected.

Do you still have your old Sony Ericsson phone? That'll do it.

I'll look into it Luci, got an idea or two but there isn't anything I can find cheap which plays the correct format.

I think it's more to do with not wanting the expensive phone to get nicked/lost/damaged.

Go old skool and look cool at the same time by buying a 2nd hand iPod Mini on eBay. Should cost £20 to £25.
