I felt positive about MK DONGS and not so good about tonight. Sad

On that basis a 3-2 win to town. Cheesy

No more injuries would be a good outcome, expect a two or three goal defeat.

1-0. Solid Town defence, good covering midfield.

Lucas out as well according to the BBC website. Now I am worried. This could get nasty.

Everything's against us so we'll probably win!

But then again... 4-1 defeat.

They are a good side, but not good enough to be up in the promtion mix, therfore they mustn't be feared. I believe they will expect to win but we will turn them over 2-1, Austin (2) back on song.

A lot of the bookies have missed how many injuries weve got. Coral have got Southampton at 4/5, which is good odds for a team that have won their last 7 home games. Im in 2 minds, feel a bit dirty betting on us to lose.

I think we will need to keep a clean sheet to get anything from the game.

But we have always got Austin, if he gets a chance he wont think about it, he'll just slot it into the net.

See everyone's preparing themselves mentally for the pain ahead.

Can't see us scoring in a 4-5-1, or keeping them out. 4-0.

Only too happy to be quoted and abused by merry revellers afterwards though.

One other thing to consider is that we did thrash them at the County Ground earlier in the season with 1 up front.

But they do seem to have strengthened in a lot of areas.

I hate Pardew. Hes such a wanker.

Rovers showed if you can keep it tight and be a bit lucky first 20 mins, anything can happen. 2-2 draw.

And if it wasn't for their keeper, we would've won 5-0 !!!

Yes, I think we'll be seeing a very different (ie much stronger) Saints side tonight and a relatively weakened Town side from then. But, I wasn't optimistic about that game either. Getting a lift from my mate who's a Saints fan so if it's a heavy defeat for either side, I could be walking home. 2-2, just to save my legs
