We can do this. I actually think we have as good a chance as any for 2nd spot.

My optimism has only just kicked in...courtesy of a G&T

I never considered myself a pessimist but I'm quite nervous ahead of the Hartlepool game! Let alone Leeds. We've hardly a sparkling track record in County Durham. I'm always nervous when we're in a good league position!

Come on Town!

We'll piss Hartlepool, i'm not normally that confident where we are concerned, but i am for that game. Thier home record against top 10 so far i think is W1 D1 L6.

I looked at some of their home results and the likes of Huddersfield and MK have won there an both kept a clean sheet. In fact Franchise won 5-0 there. Their home record is also worse than our away record.

But that was back at the start of December.

No games in hand for any of the top ten now.

Hmmm...Hartlepoo giving Soton a hard time at St Mary's...hopefully they will still be knackered by Saturday.

Looks like Cochester are fading just at the right time, as are Leeds. Lovely.

I'll feel a lot more comfortable when Southampton drop a few more points. I really can't see them making the playoffs but I'll be happier when its mathematically impossible - wouldn't fancy them in the playoffs.

Yeah, we've only beaten them twice this season.

Leeds remind me of Oxford...they get so far, all looks positive & then balls it up. Great

Alan Green practically crowned Leeds as champions in October - of course, he'd deny it. Mind you, he has been going on about how he's desperate to see Leeds back in the Premiership all season. He might have to wait a little while what with this seasons wobble and the whole having to get out of the Championship first thing too - that old chestnut.

Huddersfield v Charlton Saturday too.

Leeds are still in pole position.

Are they? How much are they gonna miss Kisnorbo though?

They are if you ignore the form book and injuries, in that destiny is in their own hands. Surely their shit form can't last. Can it?! As long as it lasts until after we play them...

They have signed Collins a CB from Preston to replace Kisnorbo.

I was sure Leeds would go up automatic this year. Now I don't think so.

Is anyone else nervous about saturday?

I have this horrible feeling. We never seem to do any good against Hartlepool.

Yeah, for some reason I'm more nervous about Saturday than Leeds
