I'm now able to go. I'm driving up to Acton, getting the tube to Oxford Circus, dumping the wife off shopping and then on to Leyton. Can't wait.

The central line is closed through Acton, right through from Ruislip to Marble Arch.

I'm going from Acton Town and getting the Piccadilly line to Green Park, then the District line from Poxford Circus to Leyton.

...a long time ago in a galaxy far far aware We were travelling somewhere as a family and when Mrs. Jobsworth looked at our tickets asked us to display some sort of railcard which we had - I cant remember what the fuck it was and we didnt have it. She made us pay the extra money right there on the spot.

I just realised I'm probably too old for a young persons railcard. I'm off for a bath with the toaster.

Good luck with that one. They are right sods if anythings wrong. I had a timed ticket for a home game last season from Paddington, and accidentally got on one 15 mins before. Got to near Swindon and they checked and said £40 please, I said i didn't have it. He said fine I'll get the police to meet you at Swindon station. Didn't want to risk missing the game so managed to scrape £35 which he took!
